Carlton B. Geesaman, Sr. founded this company in 1976 with a straightforward idea. Do the job right, treat the customer right, and put your name on work you’re proud of. Starting in Central Pennsylvania with a focus on custom home building, he grew CBG into one of the most trusted names in the region over the following decades.
In 2013, he passed ownership to his son Carlton “Cobbie” Geesaman Jr., who has carried that standard forward while expanding the company’s capabilities to include excavation, concrete, and a broader range of commercial work. Carlton Sr. passed away in 2015, but the company he built and the name on every project remains his legacy.
Nearly 50 years in, CBG is still family owned, still self-performing most of its work with its own crews, and still approaching every job the same way. No shortcuts. No finger pointing. Just a builder that takes pride in the result.
